I left on Sat. July 26th at 6am and headed for Wilkes-Barre, PA. I got into town about 5pm and Charlie Umphred, the V.P. of Marketing and one of the co-owners, picked me up at the airport. He and his girlfriend were letting me stay at their home that night as a favor and a way to save money. He also had a big night planned for all the distributors that flew in early for the convention.
Charlie and Cyndi hosted a barbeque and the guest list included top leaders in the company and the CEO Bobby Scocozzo and his family.
We listened to live music and relaxed on his deck that overlooks the lake next to his house. I saw my very first firefly and thought that was pretty cool! ha!

The next day was a very fun and relaxing day where I met up with team member Buffy Stiles and my sponsor, Jackie Ulmer and some other friends for drinks at the Margarita Bar at the Woodlands Resort.
Monday night was the kick-off Western BBQ dinner and the Montana Babes came out in all their western glory!! We took the first and second place prizes to the tune of $300!!
Tuesday was the first official day of the conference and I was a speaker. Charlie told me because some other speakers had gone way over time that I had to be fast and funny. I am happy to report that I accomplished that but also made a complete fool of myself. I'll share that story another time but for those of you that know what I'm talking about, here is the link to watch the YouTube video of my husband in his underwear that I referred to in my speech.

Tuesday night was the Island themed dinner and we dressed up once again. We didn't win a prize but my dear friend Tanya Hommes did with this crazy costume!
On Tuesday, I participated in a skit gameshow called "Do You Have a Millionaire Mindset" and I was the Vanna of the show and my name was Vanna Montana!! Pix to come!
The last night was the big dinner dance and we all dressed up and partied one last time before heading home the next day.
My flight got canceled and had to be rescheduled for the next day so I got to spend one more night with Charlie and Cyndi. Thanks so much to them for their open hospitality and all the great dinners on the deck!
Plans are being made for the next Fling to possibly be in Las Vegas. Details to come. Make plans now to be there and share in the fun times and success training!
